Super 4 Animated TV Series to start this Autumn 2014 in the UK & France !

Idem here! The animation is really good actually though a little lack of action IMO, but it could be a cultural thing. If the series were made in USA surely it would be more hectic.

And there would probably an explosion here and there.

Thanks for the links Karim! The animation is good and I like the overall look of things. Thanks for the translation Ismene. I figured something like that out from the story line but my French is basically nonexistant.

Yeah, the plot lines are fairly understandable just from the animation. It's good practice for me though.

Summary of I am the King

Alex says to go faster; Gene says their already at full power. Ruby wants to release the canons. Étincelle thinks it’s too mean, and Gene says there are no weapons aboard anyway. Étincelle wonders why the fairies are still following as they know that Fourchesac (I have no idea how to spell this name ) will be put into prison. Alex has an idea. He and the alien check Fourchesac’s bag and find a bunch of things. Alex says that they must return the items, so the fairies will stop following them. They do this, but one vial is missing!

 They return to the castle. The king praises Alex and friends’ work. The guard repeats “courageously” sarcastically. Fourchesac promises to reflect on his actions. He breaks the vial. Alex asks if the “king” is alright; he says yes. The “king” says he will take a nap, but he heads in the wrong direction. When the “king” is alone, we learn that he is really Fourchesac and the potion caused them to switch bodies!

The “king” is called to a council of the lords of the kingdom. He’s bored and tells them to do as they wish. He meets Étincelle in the hallway and calls her a big mosquito. At the guard’s suggestion, he asks for her arrest. Ruby sends Étincelle to alert the others; Ruby and the guard fight until the guards calls others to come arrest her. The “king” says it gave him an idea...

Ruby is locked up, despite asking to speak to Alex. “Fourchesac” asks if she isn’t the friend of his son Alex. She thinks he’s become a weirdo.

The “king” calls his men to invade the fairy realm and annihilate the fairies. Alex says they have always lived in peace with the fairies. The “king” calls him a traitor. They retreat. They find Ruby and “Fourchesac.” Gene scans him and determines that he is the true Fourchesac. Alex reminds them of the smoke cloud in the throne room. Ruby understands; Étincelle doesn’t. She transforms him but doesn’t understand why Alex asked.

The kings argue about who is who. Alex says they must share the power, since no one can tell them apart. He asks Étincelle to kiss them (on the cheek). When the one king is disgusted, it’s clear that he is Fourchesac and he confesses to it. Alex asks Étincelle to return him to his original form. She does and then finally understands. The guard says he needs a detailed explanation, so Étincelle explains. Alex says an explanation by Étincelle is worse than a night in the dungeon.

Two episodes so far, and Alex has been evicted or chased by guards in both.
Also, the animators seem to have an issue with goatees.

Watched the first ep - I changed my mind about the "drawerings" - though far from real klickys, they are very playmolike... the way the "shirt" is shorter up front, for example.

Anyways, though I figured out what's happening (and just read  Ismene's great summary and it matches!), I also KNOW I missed the funny lines. AND I felt stupid.

Is this the original? The language that is?

I suppose there is little chance of the addic7ed crew to translate this, right?

(on the WEIRD side.. they call it Super FOUR - with an accent.)

I do strongly dislike the "futuristic setting", as it has nothing to do with anything playmo, as far as I can see... (besides ugly as Tartarus)

I want that boat... er... ship... with the sword pointing skeleton in front
