Hello from Belgium!

Hi all  :wave:

I'm Niek, 27 years old and I live in Belgium.  I recently started collecting Playmobil after years of lurking at the blue boxes in my toystore. I used to play a lot with some older sets (family car, police car, firemen, ...), but my mother gave all our toys away as we grew older. Luckily I'm now able to buy new pieces and build a nice collection.

I plan on building diorama's and taking pictures. I will mostly be focusing on city life, adventures and summer fun themes. (oh and vikings! love those vikings!  :love:)

Hope to meet some new friends and read lots of fun stories!

There are a number of great collectors in Belgium, and there are shows in your region every year it seems. LuxPlaymoDays is coming up in late August. If you haven't been to one I recommend going, collector dioramas are amazing and it's a chance to meet friends with the same interests.

Hi Niek! I'm a fellow Belgian too, I live in Antwerp  :wave:

Sounds great that you're planning on doing diorama's with modern city and beach themes.

Tiermann's right, we're lucky living so close to all of these different Playmobil fairs in eastern France, the Netherlands, Luxemburg (and our own Brussels too, of course).
I seriously recommend Luxplaymodays too. I'll definitely be going again this year!
