This is the 2nd part of ''THE BATTLE OF DERVENAKIA 1822''.

In the Turkish camp the generals make council. The army has no choice than to return to Korynthos. But Dramalis has a plan to fool the Greek leaders.




He will send his Greek secretary to lie to Kolokotronis and to inform him ''confidentially'' that Dramalis has planned to move forward to Tripolitsa.


Dramalis secretary arrives to the Greek camp and informes them that Dramalis' army will move towards Tripolitsa, and advises them to block his way with all of their forces.




Petrobeis argues with Kolokotronis. He believed the secretary and he recommended that the whole army should close the paths to Tripolitsa. Kolokotronis doesn't believe the secretary. He knows how desperate Dramalis' army is and he is sure that Dramalis has no choice than to return to Korynthos.....through Dervenakia.


Petrobeis Mauromihalis and Maniates leave.


Kolokotronis explains his plan to his leaders Ipsiladis, Papaflessas, Plapoutas and Nikitaras. TOMORROW THEY WILL FIGHT IN DEVENAKIA!!!


Kolokotronis speaks to the Greek warriors: ''GREEKS....TOMORROW WE WILL WIN AS FREE MEN OR WE WILL DIE AS FREE MEN!!!''














Dramalis' army is seperated in two parts: the 1st one, the smaller, would take the path to Paliohano.




























































A small part of cavarly tries to escape.....


Waste of time...




The few Maniates who stayed with Kolokotronis....are waiting....


THERE IS NO ESCAPE!!!










The 2nd part of the Turkish army, in spite of the fireshots, is heading towards the other path: the path of Agios Sostis.....


An Albanian who managed to escape informed Dramalis for the disaster. He warned him that all the Greek forces are coming here...


Dramalis has no choice: THE ARMY WILL TRY TO CROSS DERVENAKIA!
