My Argentine cousin is in Paris for the weekend. He lives in Rio now, but his father's still there in Buenos Aires. He said things are really as bad as you're telling, though with a great sense of (black) humour.
Obviously, something must give. Things won't last like this for long.
Thank you for making us laugh, Gaston. I love how you depicted all the characters from the government.
And it was good to see our Queen Tahra as herself in a story for once!
Best,
Arnaud

My dear friend Gaston,

my deep respect, that you are still able to laugh about this bad situation.

I confess, you made me laugh with your story, nevertheless I know the sad truth.

All the best to you and your country!

Daniela

Very well done, Gaston. Sorry to hear things are so bad there. But glad you can tell it with a sense of humor!

Thank you Arnaud and dearest Daniela!
I'm way passed depression and I'm able to laugh indeed, though, to be clear, the story is 99% honest truth and it IS sad and worrying.

Nevertheless, I'll keep laughing and trying to find the good side of this situation.  ;D

Thank you for your support.

Gaston, I feel so sorry for you having to live through times like these, I can't begin to imagine how upsetting it must be for you and your fellow countrymen; hopefully things will change for the better, soon.   :(
It is good that you can look at it with a sense of humour though.  I love the way you depicted the various officials
I also loved the pictures of you sitting at your computer with your cat - reminds me of my cat when I'm trying to type. (If the picture was of me, the bowl of ice cream would be empty though!

A house is not a home without a cat (or two).

Wow that's... horrible. Hope someone in government gets some sense about this, soon.

But the photo story was lovely  ;D

Although I knew this 'story' wasn't going to be fictional, I still got a chill when I read the last slide. When a Government acts without the consent and support of its people, in such a high- handed way as this, their days are surely numbered? I am glad you are able to speak out on this matter; if your posts here on PF stop in the next few days, we will know the grey-suit-and-briefcase-SS have asked you to 'help with their enquiries'!

Three things I loved about your pictures;
1. The Secretary's blue slippers
2. The President's wallet
3. Queen Tahra - I just KNOW she wears her crown to visit the Post Office!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

:o

(I'm sorry about the state of things there. We complain about the LOVELY customs people here - may the Others take them - but I think they are nothing compared to yours. They MUST NEVER KNOW. )
