Schooner sailor.
« on: February 07, 2014, 19:12:16 »
Just received some more "sailor" figures through DS.
Every time I see this figure it hits me how simple but perfectly designed it is, don't you agree? :)

they are simply beautiful  :cloud9:

glad to hear DS is selling them

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I can now create my own schooner crew to go with my original schooner in place of the custom crew I made.

Can't wait until US Dis has them.  They'll be manning more than just a schooner.

If he had shoes on, I'd be tempted...

Is the boat the same? I'm having second thoughts about getting one - but I know mine has some broken parts... maybe I could just try to "complete it", instead of getting yet another boat (yes, this is an attempt at restraint :-[ )

It's the same boat.
As you can see in the pic, I gave my grey-bearded "master gunner" shoes on, so it's easy. :)

Thanks - I'll need to dig mine up to actually see what's wrong with it.

The problem is not actually replacing the legs... The popper solves that. But buying klickys for half of them makes it a bit.. expensive. Bare feet never did grow on me....  :-[  And I know we have a few of those ancient sailors..  ::)
