Thank you for your help Sunflower. I did check the site and it had regular Christmas lights, but I was hoping to find some lantarns or small coloured LEDS to add to the realism. Something like this:
I only found them over the internet, and it would take a lot of time and money to get them.
Then I went to my local miniature train shop and the guy laughed at me for not knowing how to string regular mini-lights together and connect them to a commutator. He even assumed I did not own a train set myself - being a woman and all. I ended up intimidated and bought tiny coloured LEDs and connectors and a piece of wire (he sold me a pink wire, because 'nobody wants to buy that', and told me to strip it with my teeth).
I came home and found out my LGB commutator had too much voltage for the stupid tiny LEDs anyway. So I decided to use my regular Christmas lights, get on with my circus show project and never go to that store again
