So which figure did you spend the most time trying to hunt down, and which one became your nemesis, the one you groaned each time you opened yet another one?? :wall:

And which one did you reeeeeally want and surprisingly got really quickly/easily?

For me (so far) I have spent the most time looking for Lady Liberty. After a recent purchase of some random Series 3 packets (only to get duplicates of the skater girl & the parasol princess) I relented and decided to buy her off eBay. She came this week and I was not disappointed.

I also spent ages looking for The Wizard. Was able to feel him at a TRU nearby. I was sooo excited and happy when I got him.

The ones that have been super annoying have been the Red King of Series 4 (got 3 of him at one point) and the Rider from Series 1. I got 5 of her from a bulk lot off ebay recently.

Ones that pleasantly surprised me were the Cave Woman and Blue Knight from Series 1, and the Geisha.

I've still been searching for the wizard. And the ninja.

None of them have been very easy for me to find, since I think the ones I want are usually amongst the more demanded. :-\

I wouldn't be able to buy enough random ones to get the ones that I want, so I've always felt for them in person. It's really easy, and I can always identify the parts in the packages, but sometimes it's very... weird doing so in a store. I always think people are looking at me strangely. :hmm:

I love doing the feel and find in store. When I have done it, I put a heap in a carry basket then walk around the store feeling as i go, or find a nice quiet spot in the store. It's easy, but you still need to concentrate, and when getting a few, so easy to mix them up in your basket!

That's a good idea, to take them somewhere else. Unfortunately, most of the places I've found them in are small non-chain toy stores. There isn't anywhere else to go.

Also, I'm always scared that people would think I am stealing them or opening the packages when making the crinkling sound as I feel them. That, or they just think I am weird for buying them in the first place.

Yes it would help if the packets weren't so noisy!

And come on, what we do isn't weird, not even the least bit weird!! :shhhh: :toot:  ;)

Well, you can probably get away with it much easier if you have a child, or if you are old enough that people just assume you are a parent or grandparent.

Slightly back on topic, it's also been easy to quickly snag the female figures with big dresses. They are very easy to feel and avoid lengthy feelings!

Still don't have the female red suited lifeguard figure. Have tons of the female pirate still though. On that coop we got the female pirate instead of the lifeguard in every single case.

Hmmm...

I am sick of opening packs and finding "Vamprilla" (for some reason this is what my mind dubbed the female vampire) or the series 4 Fairy.

I love getting and opening mystery packs but I think I need to quit with the older series.

Perhaps with the upcoming series I'll start trying to feel for the ones I want (or don't want).  I've never felt comfortable doing that but I generally shop at a small local store.  I like the idea of doing it while walking around TRU.  Now I just have to find a new TRU as the three closest to me have recently or are about to close.

I'm still looking for the female baker. No sign of her. I wouldn't mind the dwarf as well.

I still want the female archer, havent been able to find her yet.

I got the red lion king online after getting every male figure with a cape of that batch exept for that one. I'm not that great at feeling the packages and dont want to do it too long in a store.. just a quick feel when no one stands near me.

Sadly I dont see many figures on marktplaats anymore.
