Royal Guard 4577, new edition
« on: January 03, 2014, 18:24:24 »
Hello Playmofriends,
there is a new edition of the Special Royal Guard 4577.
I think it's exclusive from "Hamleys" in the U.K.
Someone's got further information?

Thank you for bringing it it here!

The question is... who's gonna make a collective order? ;)

Interesting. I don't have my old one out to compare though (he had to make way for the Christmas setup).

Interesting he looks like a slightly flashier versio of the one they released with the Mystery figures the sash and stuff are nice but, not sure whether I'd go out of my way to buy him just for the little details, is it just me or tdoes that picture amke his hat look really fat?

That is the *original* look of the Royal Guard as released with the special 4577. The mystery figure one is the *copy*.

That's somewhere in the vicinity of about $5.  That's not a bad price for Hamleys.  Deduct the VAT and add shipping it might come in a bit less than that.  Sadly, I won't be back in London until at least March, and likely not until summer. I'll stock up then.
I've never known them to do an exclusive there, which has always surprised me.
Btw, it looks like they don't ship to the US.

I like this klicky a lot, hopefully a differenr hat can turn a decent number of these into a nice army! Not that I dont like the hat but its moreceremonial than combat. Nice details on the klicky
