Kilts and pith helmets

Hi,
  Does anyone know how to make Kilts and pith helmets?
  If anybody does could someone explain it to me in steps with
pics? Thanks in advance. I'm going to build a highland unit.

Thanks Val, I was going to post that thread for him if somone didn't.

That's the one I made my kilt from and it works well. I seem to vaguely remember your method Val. Something about wrapping real tartan ribbon and snapping into the Klicky's body...no?

You might want to ask your question at GW-PC ...
(However, Val's method IS the simplest, as these were cast from moulds.)

I like your scotsman, Dunc, inspite of his y-fronts.

I always wanted to make a kilted klicky but never found the time or quite enough motivation.
