Welcome from Amsterdam, the Netherlands! I'm 43 too and I also still have the first pirate ship (in bad condition, unfortunately). Now I collect mainly 'Warriors', all from the melee period (knights, Romans and especially the 'exotic' ones). Also love the fantasy theme. All come together in the comic "The Story of Randolph", published on this board. Just click on the link in my signature.

welcome to the forum from the west coast of USA. Our 3 sons did not take to playmo initially but through patience and persistence they have grown to be very fond of it. We now build big dioramas together and it is all over our home. enjoy
