Somewhere in Polynesia, AD 1772

AD 1772. Captain Cook (Jane Cook) arrives in POLYNESIA.

The year before, encouraged by stories from her uncle James Cook, she had departed England to undertake the long and dangerous voyage to the southern hemisphere.

She is seen while trying to bribe some locals' chief into marriage (so the playmobilias in the basket are not gifts from King George III.) Unfortunately, the local leader already has 3 wives and 3 burn-outs. (he carries a burning torch around alltime, as a remedy against the burn-outs as well as the wives.)  ;D
