Speaking of wise men...
« on: October 03, 2013, 04:41:34 »
PlaymoDB lists a wise men set with children as wise men: http://playmodb.org/setpics/4075.jpg

Does anyone know when/where this set was released? I want one, but I can't seem to find one for less than 24 euros (amazon.de).

It was released in 2005 as a Vedes exclusive.
It is a lovely set,but you don't see it very often.
I have one and it goes really well with the children's nativity set.
It's a pity that Playmobil  didn't re-release it with that.

These are from 2 different displays I made with those sets...

@ Ismene

Do you want to bid and let it send to me in Germany, and I will ship it to you?
Let me know, if that helps.

I would love to do that, if Ismene doesn't want to! I will PM you both!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

I'd appreciate it, if it doesn't go too high. Thanks!

Sorry Graham. It looks like someone listed another one though.

Cute! I originally thought it was supposed to go with the children's nativity pageant because they do seem to go together, but then it's harder to find.

Well, I bid 5 euros and it went for 7.48! I hope that was you who won it, Ismene, sorry if I bid against you (slightly crossed wires as Daniella agreed to let me take up her offer of a shipping address in Germany before you replied).

Perhaps the PCC will include this set in their Special Sale (ever the optimist!).
