we use those klickies as the queens eunuchs, and no it was not their choice. To create one our blue hooded executioner is given a side job.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Poor clickies, looks like my pink shirted herald found a better home then.  ;) Worst thing that happened to him was fainting twice in a single story at the very notion of danger.
I gues he is a bit of a stereotype, but considering how he looks and his position as a herald its just a perfect fit. Very much a castle servant who doesnt get his hands dirty and mostly is busy writing messages, poetry, redecorating, planning festivities, giving advice to the noble ladies, and more such things.

I'd like to see more of the ethnic figures as well.

A nice older couple

Teenagers!  You have the children and then you have the adults but nothing between (other than the disastrous look of the skate park figures) the dwarf body could even be used for this one.

I do also like the idea posted of a Victorian Era Butler (really I'd love to see Playmobil expand the Victorian line as it is fairly compatible with already popular Knights and Pirate lines).

I agree there is a lack of "civilians" for any of the historical periods that Playmobil has done.  They did the Roman Arena, but gave us no citizens to sit in the seats.  No civilians to stroll through our castles, few settlers for our Western Towns (though this has probably been the easiest to adapt other figures for), no citizens to be plundered by Pirates...

I'm growing tired of Pirate Captains, and Knights, and Kings... Give us the true armies, the real men who worked the ships, civilians!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

A few suggestions of my own.

-A THIN monk with black or brown tonsured hair.
-A hoplite warrior.
-A Druid.
-A painted Pictish warrior.
-A REALISTIC looking musketeer.
-A Landsknecht soldier.

I'd be buying... :)
The most valiant knights are made of German plastic!!!

I would like to see fat kids and women. We have had fat men for a while but have we ever seen a fat woman or kid? A fat kid would be so great for the US market. Also why is it that the men get so discriminated? Why not make an unshaven woman who looks like she just rolled out of bed and is all unkept looking similar to the unshaven horribly dressed men with grime on their face. How about hairy legs for a woman klicky becouse a hairy faced woman is a bit transgender-ish.

I don't want to see klicky leg hair. Just no.

I would be happy if the guys cleaned up a bit as well.

An ancient Egyptian female figure who is NOT Cleopatra!

Also I second the idea of a Roman noblewoman, and in general more (especially female) civilians from historical periods.

They could be really dirty in ragged clothes, similar to the marooned pirates only in classic brown/grey wardrobe. The hairy legs would work too  the fat part would not seeing if you were a peasant you probably were skinny from lack of food.

Wasnt there already a Nobel roman family?

Let's see.. heres some more ideas.

guys:

-Detective in trenchcoat. (new legs mold to simulate the trenchcoat.)
-40's gangster. (including violin case with tommy gun.)
-Ice Hockey keeper. (including infamous classic hockeymask.)
-Lumberjack with chainsaw and axe. Wears typical lumberjack outfit.
-Generic medieval herald. Not tied to a specific faction, a herald in fancy clothing with a horn and a written scroll.
-Squire. Dressed somewhat similar to the highlander but without a kilt, he carries a bag on his back that holds several weapons. Carries some items on his belt too.
-Redcoat drummer. Redcoat soldier with tricone, has crossed belts over his torso which a drum can be hooked into. Includes drumsticks of course. He can walk and drum.
-Dervish. middle eastern styled warrior with a cloth wrap around his head that covers his mouth too, has two short swords.
-Adventurer. Practicly an Indiana Jones figure including a whip, a torch and a handgun.

women:

-Medieval woman with baby. No princess, just a common woman.
-Tavern wench. A bit like the woman that comes with the alpine lodge, but more medieval and carrying two mugs of ale.
-Medieval blacksmith. Rolled up sleeves, dark apron, long skirt and has an anvil and hammer. Based on the "knight's tale" movie, it has a girl blacksmith.
-Spanish/italian noblewoman. Slightly tanned woman with black hair in a red dress.
-Alien. Why should all aliens be guys?
-Black pirate. Don't think playmobil ever released black pirate women.
-Astronaut.
-Mage with long red hair dressed in a red/white outfit, carrying a staff with a green ball on top. (inspired by the codex character of Felicia Day. She's awesome.)

Yes, the Roman family is really nice, but there is still a lack of Roman women I think...
