Gold miners, Arizona 1870
« on: August 18, 2013, 11:12:27 »
Hi everyone!
This is a diorama I wanted to make many years ago but finally I only found out two months ago how to make the construction the Gold miners have to clean the gold from the mud, with the help of the river.
I hope you like it!

Very cool dio Ntanny!  When you see real pictures of gold mining from that time, there always seems to be a lot of "stuff" everywhere.  You've really captured that well.  I also love your clever use of pieces beyond their original design.  Nice job!

Looks good!

Which do you like best, McLarens gold mine or the new one?

Hello everyone

Thank you all for your nice comments! Its good when you tired to make something,to take good comments for reward!

el jefe : it was the only way to make what i wanted with playmobil parts.and as you say,in all the pictures for goldminers, there is a mess. 8}..people working and a lot of stuff arround!!!

Wesley Myers : I believe that  McLarens gold mine was one of the best constraction, ever made by playmobil. Its not get so much space(its difficult to set up the new),can also used for decoration, cage, mountain, you can set it in all the periods(medieval, pirate, etc.etc),and had wonderful figures on it...19 years ago ;)

Again a big thanks to all

Beautiful!! The river-construction works very well, and there's a real forest-feeling.

Let's hope that guy by the river catches that snake by its feet :)
