Great pics - the strawberries made me want some!
And the cat - but where's the action man?
Thanks glad you like them the strawberries were very tasty I don't do a lot with them but, it's good to know that I grew them organically, a few weeks later and we had dribs and drabs coming in from the garden now we've got a steady stream coming plus the glut of raspberries is just slowing down so I follwed an easy recipe my Mum used the other week for some rapsberry cupcakes and made a batch for the guys at the Botanics, will make another batch for the guys at BTCV which my men might investigate later this week
, we'll need them to keep our energy up we've got 10 tonnes of aggregate to shift in a day on Thursday I like the challenge it should be a good workout.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/raspberry_and_cream_89607As for the AM photos will gladly post them in a minute I'm just always wary of posting AM photos sicne they're not Playmobil and I do sometimes have a tendancy to get into trouble for going off topic
Anyway sinc eyou ask this is Vaughan one of a box of Vintage and Modern AM's kindly donated to me shortly after I started collecting, he's one of my favourite AM's because he's clearly got some good history (he's an ex talker now msising his voicebox) and well look at that head clearly seen some battles in that face such character
Please note no cats, AM's or Klickies was harmed in the making of these photos all wound dressing are purely for show
Your photo's are stunning, as always
The snake's Head is beautiful, I've never seen it before.
Very nice wooden bench too, by the way!
Thanks I've gotta agree with you on both point's the pattern on the Snake's Head Frittillary is simply beautiful I've got a nice bulb book which has some beautiful illustrations in it and the paintings in there really show bulbs like this off in their full glory. I really like the benches as well quite easy to do we dug some holes for the legs which were some wooden stumps/tree trunks? and backfilled with soil when we checked they were level then we put the planks on top and when that was level I think they counter sinked the benches and then drilled some screws in and covered the holes with wood filler and sanded them down later, or at least I think that's right I'm not very technical
Some very nice pictures here like that one with the strawberries and the cat!!
Many thanks for sharing.
George.
Thanks I'm glad you like them I've got to amdit the cat one is good I think I caught the pose right
