Hello George , nice custom , i think ortodoxe too seeing it (i do a violet one long time ago) . The sun in the glass of the church can do wonderfull pictures . Thanks to share Jeremy

I don't know many things for the Russian Orthodox priests but we have lots of common customs. About the hat yes, I made this with a bucket and at the top I stuck a piece of hard paper. ;)

He looks just right, especially with the church and all the details you added. 

I like the baptism thing (don't know the word in English). Do I spot a big kettle which you painted?

In English we call it a "font". A Baptismal Font.

Very neat idea for the headgear, by the way!
