My big achievement. FINALLY. This is one of the custom "lines" that's been in the works for months...

After surgery, paint layers and varnish, here he is...




Yes, I know the paint job is lousy. However, trust me... for me, it's GREAT. Amazing. I am stupidly happy with him.

Anyways, is spite of the (many) shortcomings, this does prove my hope - the speedos CAN be converted in awesome klickys. So, many more to follow, with some general plans for several, and VERY SPECIFIC plans for one

The figures look good too. (Not historically accurate with the shorts, mind you - but they do look good.)

Thanks... It doesn't look that great on close inspection - I'm REALLY not good at this, and I know it... Still, I like them, so does my sister, which, in the end, is what really matters

I know they're not historically accurate, but I don't much care for that (good, right? )..

The colour matching is excellent. That's why I wanted to know the type of paint. Did you mix the colours or are they straight from the bottle?

Mixing colors is WAYYYYYY over my skill level. The only painted parts are the boots.

(well, the gold female one has the trimmings on top in gold, with a marker... )

Wow, okay, these look amazing!! 

They look way better than the Romans with torso's from before Speedo-dad showed up

Thanks... you just forget these have months in the making (especially the first one - the blue)

Tape... Masking tape for brown, and the other is cheap one from a "chinese store"     But I figured the color matched the darker red speedos, so...
