super plastic ?

I have just been doing a random search on ebay (looking for scenery) and came across this auction for hand mouldable plastic.

I was wondering if anyone here has used anything like it before and if it is as good as the seller makes out.

But doesn't it return to it's jelly state again when heated, e.g by the sun?

I see there smaller quantities available in their shop, e.g. 350g.

Interesting, yes it seems it woudl remelt. It is paintable though so I wonder if a coat of paint would be sufficient to hold it together for most uses?

well sir,
i have used this material some times as an emergency method to re-create boat parts.
it´s very usefull when you are at sea, faraway from shore, and something brakes.
it is really very easy to use and re-melting it several times it doesn't seem to affect its qualities - my first concern.
it tend to go back to its solid state a little bit faster than you wish for.
i have never tried to use it with molds but my feeling is that it will behave wonderfully -  the surface finish can is very plastic.
when it goes solid it is a very, very, very strong plastic, sustaining heavy loads.
it looks very much like nylon or teflon although it feels more like abs plastic (the one playmobil uses, i think).
when solid, it can be worked with wood tools - drilled, sanded, cut, etc.
i know it seems to good to be true - when i first saw it i felt the same - but it is really a wonderful material.

Did you shape it into a sandwich
