The sand for the beach is a sort of thick plastic flooring with a sandy mixture stuck to the surface, which I found in a garden centre.
You could just buy it by the meter. It does curl up, so it's not ideal.

Not keen in buying the whole thing (RESTRAINT!), but I admit that freezer is great. I want it!

I just unpacked the 5438 motorcycle, it's really great. I am surprised in how much fun and how complete these sets are!
