And the sultan looks lovely - where is that cape from?

The long black cape with the prints is from a king in DS-set 7773 (sadly playmodb's major functions are still down  )...
Momentarily I only have one such cape, so (temporarily) I'm using a standard black cape for King Philips II, with the golden symbols painted on.

My favourite are the first two, obviously the most detailed customs. But the Sultan is very good too.

Hi, thanks but all credits go to Malone. It's a picture from his custom page (with his permission of course). The Ancient world  is my favourite playmo theme (would love to see ancient Greeks with Playmo as well, although my personal opinion is that Malone already reached perfection here ) I'm actually building a Hoplite army myself but that project is on hold (read : need more time ).

Magnificent customs, Erwin.  You have a real talent for the 16th and 17th century customs.



The background of the antique map is very good and nicely goes with the figures and sets the scene for the times of imperial expansion, by the Dutch, the Spanish and the English.  It reminds me of how Vermeer used a world map in one of his paintings.
