Still more Victorians
« on: April 20, 2013, 21:58:27 »
I've continued to make more Victorian ladies, men and children - so much so that I can't look at a klicky now without wondering if I can use either its torso, skirt, legs or arms to make a new custom
Some torsos are very useful and can be co-ordinated with a variety of colours to make a different looking figure each time.   While some that I would never have thought of using work really well too.

I've been using Tahra's method of removing printing that I don't want, using an ink rubber, but also a little cream cleaner has worked wonders on white parts with printing - it does make my hands ache though!

I haven't posted them recently because I now have to resize all my photos before uploading them to Photobucket and that takes time!

However, here are some of my latest customs -

First some co-ordinating couples...

Following  Bonnies' suggestion I've numbered them)

Just hope you like them!

Oh Elaine, they are just fantastic! There were a few I thought were particularly outstanding. You ought to number them so it will be easier to tell you our favorites! I love the flowered hats.

I'll go back and do that while I can still change my post

Thanks! I particularly loved 6, 10, 14, and ADORE 18 and 26! Where is the torso for 26 from?

Wow, that's quite a lot.

Really good looking too.

Where do you get all the figures from?  Lots on ebay?  or ?

Great work I'm not really into the ladies but, even I've got to admit that some of those prints and cominations of outfits look just beautiful as do some of the mens prints but, for some reason number 10 not sure why that one in particular. Also the first 2 families are just great the colour combinations are really striking particularly with the first in red and blue  :)

Thank you for your comments

Some of the figures are from my own spares, others from lots I have bought on ebay as extras for the exhibition.
As this year I am doing a circus, modern town and holiday park amongst other things, I am going to need a lot of extra modern figures so have been looking out for lots on ebay and if I have seen some long skirts while I've been looking, I've added those on too!

Where is the torso for 26 from?

It belongs to the lady in the 5424 Alpine sets with the goats.  She was with a figures lot I got.  :)

Lots of wonderful figures there. I particularly like the color scheme on no 10, that cream really looks nice.

They are all very smart, Elaine!   My favorite pair is number one, but it is very difficult to settle on just one.     Thanks so much for sharing the pics and inspiring us all.
