the new cannonballs seem to be the same as in the 4136 set.
customizer showed them in another thread - http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1248.15.
mine is on the way.
i think we all have to thank the playclicks guys for all these pictures.
as far as i know they were the first to get them.

The pirate sets are great!  Love the lighthouse.. no noticable recycled parts.  Plus new hair on the front most pirate in 4292 Treasure set.  Secondly, there is a kid in that set... is he bald? or what is going on with him?.. It looks like he has a bandanna type hat with gold hoops attached and a bald head poking out.

A  little dissapointed in some of the other sets because of the abundance of recycled figures (mostly children).  Love all the new animals though!  Very cute elephant set in the circus sets.  Second appearance of the tutu this year.

Very happy at all the new content and at the same time also very worried. 8}

How will Playmobil ever surpass or equal this amazing selection of new sets next time? They have a tough job ahead of them to keep us satisfied. :o

And how will I ever be able to afford everything that I want. It's just not fair!!! :hissyfit:  ;)

That big top is fantastic! I told myself a while ago that I already had enough Circus sets, but I'm becoming increasingly doubtful.... :P

 ???
the lighthouse and the small boat are puzzling me.
(again the pictures come form playclicks).
they seem to historically incompatible with both pirates and medieval knights themes.
they have a maritime connection with the pirates.
they have a formal connection with the knights.
they are 1 / 1,5 century disconnected form both times.
should i consider buying them? i can't make up my mind...

 :)
the lighthouse is really beautiful.
 :wow:
the spanish playcliks guys are very happy with these new sets, considering the "conquistadores" look they seem to have.
one of them was desperate to find an actual spanish flag.
 ???
i wonder if this is the beggining of a new playmobil family?
 ???
maybe they will produce one special vasco da gama, the portuguese sailor who first found the maritime passage from europe to india.
or a special bartomeu dias, another portuguese sailor, the first one to go around the cape of good hope, or pedro álvares cabral, who discoverd brazil.
this way i wouldn't have any doubts buying them...

The lighthouse is amazing!! Very versatile use for a lot of themes (if you are not trying to be historically correct). A lot of great animals and cool stuff for CityLife!

But there are at least two setbacks: the new pirate ship has a terrible Fisher-Price-like colour scheme and this stupid cannonball-on-a-stick and there is nothing new for the Romans especially civilian add-ons.

i agree with you bogol - the cannonballs in a stick don't seem that nice.
 :(
after a closer look, the pirate ship's colors don't excite me much either.
 :hmm:
there seems to be a contradiction in the evolution of playmobil pirate design - the figures keep getting more sophisticated and "realistic" (moving away from the simple black, yellow, red, green and blue schemes) and the ships seem to go on the opposite direction (moving away from the brown shades of the 3550 and 3750, and loosing even their canvas sails).
 :'(
but there are always positive things - new women pirates in some of the sets...
