Thank you all for the incredibly warm wishes!  Very nice since our Spring break here began with a lot of snow.  I forgot to add animals/zoo to my list, but like many, I think I could just go on adding all of the wonderful sets I like.  I think for many of us Playmobil gives us a way to live out dreams that we may not get to experience or maybe just not as often as we’d like.  These characters can do so many fun things.

There is a lot I’d love to do with them and my memory is aweful with such a busy home that sometimes just writing my plans down is as good as it gets.  Thinking about all the materials available can be an adventure too:  to use wood, or should I take a welding class,  keeping little fingers away from damage, the dread of visiting my dad to ‘bond’ in his workroom, or just buy my own tools, should it be to scale exactly, or just a good representation like the pyramid.    One day, one day  ;) so many things to have fun thinking about.

I hope to play around with my collection soon and see if I can show a few of my first playmobil.

Welcome from your nearby neighbor in Morristown!  Too bad we don't have a lot of choices around here to find Playmobil :(
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

Thank you!  Oh wow, you are so close.  I was feeling kind of isolated here.  We need more playmobil places!  Thank goodness for TRU but I miss the days when Target carried them.  We have a great store in town that has Series 3, but last time I went they only had 1 which I was going to buy until I found out it was open :(.  It was Lady Liberty too!  In hindsight, I should have just bought it and called ds for the missing parts but I had 3 crazy children and a frowning husband on my hands

Was that store Smart Toys???? That's the only other place I know of that carried Playmobil in Knoxville, and unless they moved I think we have lost them :(
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

I didn't know there was one in West Town?  There used to be one on N. Broadway within walking distance to me but it closed years ago.  There is the original Smart Toys a little further west on Kingston pike though ;) next to the Chop House.
