In the UK, too, bakeries often have an area set aside where you can sit down and eat.  It's becoming common, too, for other shops to do this, bookshops, for example.  In Thirsk near where we used to live there is an excellent bookshop which also has a corner where you can get coffee or tea and cakes and lunch, too, if you want.  In Scarborough, too, there is a similar shop selling also doing coffee or tea and cakes and lunches.  (They do wonderful Yorkshire ham sandwiches with mustard - the mustard tickles the back of your nose it's so strong!)

Yes, most book stores have at least a coffee shop where you can get coffee and pastries now. Some grocery stores have delis or small cafes and places you can sit down and eat, too.

yes i mean all my buiding are near ok (sometimes i change a wall because it doesn't fet well with the furnitures) but i have to move things to have road like i want ; for example behind the bike shop , there's the veterinary : everything fel in it and i cannot take picture with this on my picture .

That's one of the problems with Playmobil - it falls over just when you don't want it to!

   Yes, especially in the South where we eat everywhere we go.  Most stores have samples and all kinds have little cafes.  This may account for the very large average size of people in my area haha.  Also, my playmobil are often very undisciplined and probably could not restrain themselves from the beautiful foods, especially the cakes  .

Hi Kate , realise in France , we think american are all fat !! In here we know the M MORE film about MC Donald ... I think it's in all french head .... so when i will go to your country , i will go in a pharmacy and i will ask a hot dog !!

  yes, you can get hotdogs at the pharmacy I go to.  It's next to the beer and across from the moonpies.  If you ever make a pharmacy playmoshop with the USA in mind, those are good things to note haha.  It could be possible that if playmobil releases a pharmacy, it might release a few 'larger' body types too.

  yes maybe playmobil should make a special model for fat who eat 8 mc donald a day !! it's hard to customise large people with playmobil just with a !! unbelivable !! i will say to the pharmacist "euh Kate tell me i can eat here ??" really in France , pharmacist will prefer putting posters in their shop with "carrefull don't eat too much " than selling food !! (they sell a bit product outside things to cure like bonbon but it's a bit hypocrit : they have to be bio and natural ... sugar good for health ...) I really have in mind a Simpson about the addiction on sugar witch is exellent .... Thanks for your nice answer , Jeremy

I never saw a pharmacy that sold prepared food, myself, just grocery items. But we're straying off topic, and this discussion and stereotypes could be considered somewhat offensive.
