Plant Photos
« on: February 24, 2013, 21:49:58 »
Hello going to sperate my photos of the guys with flowers and like, I took these the other week back when we had a few days of warm sun, so here's a bit of colour for you after a long winter and one of my favourites Galanthus (Snowdrops) to start off

This one's a nice little Iris think it's 'Katherine Hodgson'

And finally for the minute a few photos of some Hellebores in fully glory and fully visible seeing as I remembered to chop the old leaves off one better than last year when I only remembered to do that when we were working on that area and I spotted they were in flower but, hidden by the old leaves  :-[

Just beautiful.  Thanks for the taste of Spring.  We just had a small snowshoer here, so it was much needed!  How much do you pay your garden helpers?

Lovely photos   :)  - it is great to know that Spring is on the way, even if it hasn't quite arrived here yet!

These outdoor pictures are simply divine as Springtime is definitely starting to knock at our doors

You are not only a good photographer but a keen gardener as I can see from these gorgeous plants  ;)

Thanks glad to hear that being honest with you my guys get paid mostly in hugs and kisses  unfortunately I'm only a volunteer so if they want anything more than that they'll just have to settle for free biscuits same as me can't afford anything els eexcept maybe a new friend or 2  ;)

Thanks I'm not going to lull myself into a false sense of spring being here for anyone jus tnejoy the colour as it comes and don't be in too much of a rush for spring but, I wouldn't complain at some more of that sun  :)

Hello a few more photos for you, was taking some for a story which I'll do in a few weeks I've done the photos I intended to but, if we get good weather and I remember to I mgith take some additional ones before I show the whole thing. Anyway that's for another time well I was there I spotted a very nice Hamamellis (Witchazel) outside one of the entrances strange since I nearly always walk in that way in the mornings and have clearly walked right past it without to much thought
