Great pictures! Such a magnificent dog. And he has good taste in toys!

Ear cropping is illegal in Europe, isn't it? All dobie ears are cropped here so I'm used to seeing them that way, but they look very menacing with them cropped. They look a lot more harmless with their ears flopping.

Gorgeous puppy

I think it's against the law here, but very common :(  Someone should crop THEIR ears!

It's been banned here in France too maybe 15 years ago*. But let's go back to the Playmos, I love the pictures in daylight, even more when there's snow! I guess that some time soon you will be able to build the Wall in your garden! (hint! hint!)
Those stickers look nice from afar (hint! hint! Again!)

Wonderful pictures, any army would be crazy to attack!  I've only had the privilege of knowing one doberman and she was a real sweetheart.  Thought she was a lap dog!

Cool pics!

Ear cropping

What's the reason for doing this on dogs? Is it just to make them look more menacing or are there other reasons?
I'm rather a catman so I don't know much about dogs....

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

It's mostly cosmetic. It can also reduce injuries due to other animals biting their ears, but that isn't a problem for most family pets in modern times. Most dogs aren't fending off wolves on a regular basis.

But we're off topic. ;)

My other dog Duffy got jealous on Dexter and wanted to be on playmofriends as well

I guess that some time soon you will be able to build the Wall in your garden! (hint! hint!)

I can give you a "hint" ;D that their will be an outside project this year, last year we had such a bad weather here in Sweden so i didn't have the opportunity to set it all up, and i had some boring stuff that had to be done, like painting the house and so on  >:(

Those stickers look nice from afar (hint! hint! Again!)
 ;D

I cant wait Arnaud!!!!

But we're off topic. ;)

Its OK i have no problem mixing my 2 favourite things.

Regarding ear cropping, (lets try this in English)
On dobermanns it started just before the ww2 (correct me if I'm wrong) the Nazis cut their tails of so you weren't be able to grab it during a fight. The ears they crop just because the dog should look more dangerous, Its common now days that you go to vet and ask them to crop your dobermanns ears because they have problem with what we in Sweden call bloodears. But dobermanns usually don't have problems with that, its just a way for the owner to get the vet to crop your dogs ear.  >:(
