5255 Cargo Truck
« on: January 24, 2013, 22:05:14 »
Besides the Duo Packs i did get the new Cargo Truck + the RC Module

The RC Module came without batteries which i think is not very clever. the module is 50€ - i don`t know what these batteries cost but coming home and these are missing is not very nice…

i did spend 120,-€ at Toys`r …and they wanted me to pay 0,20cent for a bag. i didn`t pay the 0,20 and didn`t get a bag. i will order all my next buys online.

Here are some pics of the truck. i like the new cargo line very much and would like to make a dio with these and my trains….let`s see

A very modern and good looking truck (I recognise the general shape of the front, but can't put a make to it).  I don't, however, think that the use of a container with a dropside truck is very realistic.  Containers are normally used with flat trucks.

Thanks for the review and pictures.
That cargo container is awesome. I might have to tarck a few to make a cool action scene.

It looks like a cool truck. I hope the module works well with it.

we really want this whole theme.

It looks like there are many sized containers and this is the biggest.

How big is compared to the old ones?

Thanks for the pictures of the truck

PS: you mean in the store they wanted you to pay for a bag which helps you carry your load to the car? That is really weird, so many times TRU will have free shipping and those have to be boxed up and that is way more taxing on the environment
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

It's like this here too. They want to motivate people into using reusable bags

Thanks for posting the pictures, it's good to see more of it. We were talking about this theme at the train show last weekend. Glazz74 has a big container port area on the layout so this theme will fit right in. It looks like this container is smaller than the old ones. It has a lid rather than an end that opens?
