Great photos looks like they've done a good job on some of the girls liking the look of the alien so far as well as the miner and the ninja although not sure whether I'd buy them I've just got to say it though the Astronaut looks so fat in his suit I like him though

Despite wanting many of the mystery figures, and multiples of some, I haven't yet bought a single one due to how they are sold as unknowns.  I despise this concept.

I know that other people do have difficulty identifying the figures in the bags but, personally I just look at the picture ont he bag of the ones I want then try to feel for the ones I want by feeling for a piece which'll be unique to that figure so the bearskin for the Grenadier Guard,  shield primarily for the dwarf, hair and cape for Elvis etc. if you're not sure feel for other pieces to help confirm it. Some figures are easier to do than others but, if you can fidn a shop where you feel able to take your time you should be able to find the ones you want in my experience and I enjoy the excitement of finding out afterwards if your guess is correct, so far got 6 out of 6 right, of course this doesn;t mean everyone'll have the same experience though  ;).

The packets are so puffed full of air that it's impossible to tell what's inside.

Try to get one of the smaller pieces to fall into one of the corners. Swords or headpieces or tiny accessories work well for this. :)

Great photos, and they're all sooooo beautiful! Definitely going to need all of these, too.

I really have to say that I have a 100% accuracy rate on "feeling and identifying" the bags, it really only comes down on concentrating on one or two distinct parts of the figure one's looking for.
You have to take your time though, don't try to rush through the box!

Unless you are just building up armies of one or 2 figures... then you can rush through the box pretty easily... Beefeaters are probably the easiest figure to find so far... provided that the store has any... that hat is very distinctive.
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

Me too! I haven't gotten one wrong yet. You just have to be really patient.

Wonderful photos - thanks so much Ute

I have only bought two series one figures in the flesh and managed to get two that I wanted. I did think that the TRU staff were about to call security though  ;D
