US Add-Ons
« on: December 22, 2012, 01:04:55 »
If I recall correctly, (am I'm pretty sure I do)  the very begining of January this year saw the release and availability of the new add-ons . Are we counting on that again?

It's the usual time for new add-on releases to be announced on all national Playmobil sites.

Hopefully Belgium will get the new stuff, too. There's a lot of catching up I have to do. 2013 will be the year where I will stop buying indiscriminately. If I don't like it, I won't buy it, as simple as that.

What if you sort of like it?
I'm really looking forward to a few of the sets. They will have to wait for me until summer though.

If I sort of like it, I'll have to see. Depends on a number of factors: not least 'put-away-ability'. The newer sets are a pain to put away. For eg - the new Western goldmine is a huge huge pain to put away, as is the fort with it's big rock formation on the side. Also depends on how many other things from other toy lines I pick up. Space is becoming too much of a problem, and I don't want to end up with playmobil everwhere. My wife certainly doesn't! I might sell some things, but I really hate selling. I've taken most of my boxed action figures to my mum's this month, and more's to follow. Honestly, if you put PM addiction aside for a moment, there are quite a number of things I couldve (and shouldve) passed on in these past few years. Like for example the last Knights theme was a waste of space and money (and thankfully I didn't buy the castles). With the money I spent on that, I couldve easily bought a MISB Merry Men's Feast!

Well, a week until the 1st, so we can start the watch and see if they pop up. Then be the first to call on the 2nd. Also, watch for the clearance sales of the FAO mansion.

I hate it when that happens! Like when I really really want one item that isn't available anywhere else, but the rest of the set isn't my theme.

I'm hoping the new add-ons won't cause other ones to be removed from the site. I'm still saving up for a few of them...

Strangely, although the cover has the classic museum it is not part of the DS assortment...
