Hmm, okay girls, I will let you know the spanish way...
(try not to giggle out loud... )So, I disassemble my figures in giving them a firm push on the
back while they are in a seated position and the feet are fixated
somewhere... The meshs of my oven cloth are the typical ground
I use...
This is not very feasible for the overweight persons as the lever
between foot and hip is mispositioned or old persons with brittle
hips that might break before the head is released...
of klickies I am talking of course...
...and you can't use this technique for the soccer players as there
is no seated position...
So what a guy from the spanish board used (I cannot be very
historically correct here though, as only gassy showed me!) is
a simple elastic band...
You simply take the band and wrap it around the figures neck.
Yes, right, exactly like you are trying to strangle the poor klicky.
Wrapping and wrapping firmly the band around the neck causes
the forces to increase that push the head away from its body.
So simply turning the head to one side will result in an unmounted
head.
So that's the spanish way...
P.S.: Best remove the wig, the elastic band might become damaged.
The physics are not so good if the figure is wearing a vest or similar...
