You have a very impressive and very well displayed collection there, Martin.

Of the modern police bikes, I think I still prefer the one at the end on the right.  I have about four which I have customised with striping and POLICE signs and blue lights.

thank you. Yeah the 3986, it's one of easiest to find bikes. It's indeed a very nice and also good icon for a policebike. I think that one is more easily/clearly recognized as such. The other ones i like very much and are very iconic as US bikes are the two on the left, the Harleys  set 5891 (black cop) and 3564 (blue cop)

Nice you're making me like bikes even more now you've got some sweet ones in your collection including the nice british 1980's/1990's Police bike which I've also got a nearly complete one of, I like the suit on the modern red bike and the guy on the yellow bike with the bright scarf  :)

Ah yes, i'm proud to have those, with the original boxes and sticker sheets :-)
The original police bike, i think you mean the green Klicky bike 3572?  The others are the 3565 race-motorcycle and the motorcycle from the 3231 set. Those are both nice bikes indeed.

I've found another of these display-cases on MP and getting it soon for only €10. Looking to get a glass shelve for each case, so i can make split-levels. The shelve would be approx. half in depth of the case, so it would display nicely  :-)

21-6-2013 update:

I have mounted the custom made glass-shelves inside my cabinets and placed some new additions inside. Not all the bikes have been unpacked or arrived, so it's not complete. Also still going to upload some reviews and topics to my new additions thread. Gotta make some better pics too   ::) :hmm: :(

Most likely the the policebikes still need more room, so everything will shift one more to the right.
Also haven't fitted the last glass-shelve in the most left cabinet. Might get the LEGO-ships and car out, if needed. So options enough.

thanks, the cabinets do look a lot better and have more capacity now.
I had it planned as soon as i saw them, but needed to find a good and reasonable priced glass-supplier. He made them custom for this ;-)
and they do fit nicely  ;D

Yep, that's my other hobby. My wife told me to let them stay up there, because she likes them. That are just a couple of my custom firehouses, made after Dutch real life examples. Haven't done anthing with the Lego in a long time.  :-\
more because of my agitation with the commercial direction Lego is going right now. (all the Star Wars and other comics junk...) >:(
I do like the 2013 sets more, they are more about the play value out of the single box, instead of needing to buy more boxes to be able to play.

This is a wonderful display!   :)9. The Shell station is super, haven't seen that before.  Like the Lego as well.  Nice arrangement all around.
