A great paint job, the colours keep the playmo-style.

As you know, I love the "chess" design.... ....I want one for me.....only one.....    ;)
But....the chicken is a french chicken.....ja, ja, ja, ja.

No kidding! ....is fantastic to see new shields mixed with my helmets.....thanks for this gift to my eyes...

I think is the perfect size....really the "hoplon" is a big shield.....and Arnaud find the good proportion....

I was going to answer: I took the measures on one of Malone's Spartan shields!  ;)
Javi's right, the hoplon or aspis, was a big and heavy shield, and it was designed to fight in phalanxes. It would be too bulky for a duel, I reckon.

Taking into account your replies and on a second sight I now stand corrected.  :)
@geobra: Thanks a lot! :-)

Hey guys!
I've been working A LOT on my computer recently and here are the results.

We're starting with a happuri mempo, dedicated to Master Cheng:

Then a Vietnamese army helmet for a future project we have here:

Some medieval helmets:

An attic helmet (5th century before JC):

A roman helmet:

A samno-attic helmet:

A few more Hoplite shields:

And a few all of my Hoplite helmets!

I haven't ordered everything from Sculpteo.com yet, but the Hoplite shields and helmets are here and I've already started to paint some. Wait and see...

Wow!  Those Greek helmets looks awesome!  1, 7 and 9 are definitely my faves!

I wonder if it would be better for you to buy your own 3d printer (?).
