maybe u can create a chinese hat? what program u use? i know autodesk maya a bit but no real cad stuff

Amazing and well done!!! I have always been thinking about enlisting the 3d printer for parts after reading news the James Bond car is actually made with 3d printer
Thanks for being the pioneer and the helmets do look great and look forward to seeing them after sandpapers are used on them

A Jingasa is a "chinese" hat, Mike.  :lol: Only, it's Japanese, made of iron, and was worn by the Ashigaru, the Japanese footmen. It does have the same flat cone shape as the Asian wicker hats.
You can have the design printed in HD resin, but I found out this resin doesn't work for small parts, and I had to cancel half of my order.
@ Doug: I think Steck parts would be very expensive with this process, even if you mean to make a dozen resin casts  and sell them.
@ Cheng: to create helmets, I first had to create a clicky head. To make belts or collars, I will need to make a torso, and THAT is really difficult.

u did one?   i have a torso in maya somewhere.. i did ones a full klicky
