So, nobody likes my gladiator helmets?  :(

YES!

I wanna see them in my GRABBY HANDS...

(from what I understood from that site, you can print the stuff in color, right? like all black - for what I had in mind would be fine... don't remember if they had grey... for the helmets would be a lot better than all whiteish)

The grabbing hands, grab all they can. Everything counts in larger amounts.

......The blade is too long in proportion to the figure to be a katana, and the handle is too short since (as Cheng already pointed out) the handle should be nearly half the length of the sword if it were a proper katana......
then WoT, you would agree to a 2cm handle and 4cm blade  ;)
I dont think the handle can be any shorter or 2 fat klicky hands would be a tight fit and we can't make this blade shorter than Geobra's right?
(I do shorten my PM katana blade.....it makes the handle look longer too)

Arnaud, I do like your other helmets, they are definitely more challenging than the Japanese iron helmet.....just not my theme anymore ;)
and sorry if I seem to be swaying your thread towards just samurai parts. please PFs, just interject with whatever subject you like, I'm sure I'll be very keen to learn about Athenian(?) helmets etc

Tahra, if I'm not wrong, Arnaud making those Japanese iron hats in white would be most versatile for spraying say lacquer red or light brown...I know spraying is not very acceptable even to myself. I suppose even those whitish steel helmets can be sprayed gold or brass or even chromed!

Well, I'd prefer printed parts to be ready, you know (also, cause I never actually painted anything...  :-[ ), so grey would be fine.. like "real" playmoparts.

Well, I designed those to be painted. I could have them printed in black plastic but they will need sanding nonetheless, so I chose the cheapest support.
Anyway, they don't provide grey plastic.

AGH. Ok... I suppose black would be as bad as white for a base color (and harder to paint) :(

Uhm.. wait.. how about PINK ?   :P

I think they do have pink, actually.  :)
So, it's one Thracian helmet in pink for you?
