No no no !!!! CIF is a bad idea (in my experience)
Even the CREAM CIF has small polishing particules.
Yes it will remove the print ... as much as the natural shine of the plastic's clicky.

Been there done that!  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( I DO NOT recomend it (unless you don't care the clicky ends up looking dull and flat)

Nothing a nice coat of varnish cannot hide, Gaston! I prefer to use sand paper, 180 then 400/600 grit, then the Cif with an old toothbrush. With 600 grit sandpaper the part is a bit dull, I grant you that, but if it is to be covered with a sticker/water slide decal, who cares? :)

I tried my glass cooktop cleaner this morning and I think it did a pretty good job.  It is called Astonish and I got it on QVC.  I think it is made in Great Britain.  It took about 2 minutes of rubbing (I just used my finger.)  The picture quality is not great, sorry.  :-[  The color looks lighter in the after picture, but that is just due to my picture taking skills.  ;D

Astonish

PS It really does a great job on glass stove tops (best I've found) and also found it to be a great cleaner for my fiberglass shower stall.

Cooktop cleaner is a good idea! I may have to give that a try.

I just tried a cleaner for glass stove tops (different brand). Took about a minute to turn a female head into a standard klicky head.

Okay, I don't understand.  A "female head into a standard head"?

Do you have pictures so I would know what you mean?

IE - I took out the eyelashes and the blush.

Because I don't have a spare standard head to replace it with. I only have spare heads with eyelashes and such.
And also, I wanted to see if the cleaner would work without dulling the part before using on other parts that have more printing and are less replaceable.
