VERY wonderful, Tim.    Looks like a huge amount of work.

The little touches put it over the top:  Like Quasimodo up on that tower.  Magnifique!

The rabbit cages creeped me out a bit too.

My favorite room is the wizard workshop.  You put so much cool magic swag in there!

So many things to see at the circus.....

BTW, Did you use tie-die green (fleece?) fabric for your grass?  I snag up some of that from Joanne's every time it's on good sale.   I keep meaning to put that in the Custom Tips section, but I'm too lazy.  IMO fabric has a good texture for grass without being TOO realistic and making it "not Playmobil."  Whatever you used, it works.

I'm jealous of your green mushroom caps.  (... and your climbing rope, and your ghost monkeys, and.....)

Can't wait to see your 2012 Christmas castle!    Keep up the creativity.

Hello Tim.

Well, what can I say?  I agree with all the comments from all members. Your Halloween Castle is amazing, awesome!!!!!! I really like it very much!!! :)9  :)9
You have put in there, so many different parts and all fits perfect. So many beautiful klickies and many nice scenes with great details. Wonderful ideas and incredible creativity. Congratulations Tim.  I'm very glad that you have use some things from my dioramas, like the mamouth skeleton and the wooden balcony in your castle. ;)
My favourite picture is this one:

The diorama is great, Tim! Beautiful scenes! :)9

I also like the design of the castle, I just find the red colour facade from the DS-house not so well matching...

The cave with with the white rabbit and bones!!
Allways great to see somenone making a wink to Monty Python!  ;)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

You nailed it there, it's the green tie-die type flannel from Joanne's. It's great stuff I've been using for years now.  I've been thinking about the tan in that pattern they have for a base for Western but I'm not sure if the color will work. I should take in a couple of the little tan ground pieces and see how well it coordinates. I don't think there will be a castle this Christmas, but I might manage a story using smaller settings.

I really like that garden area too, it turned out really well. I got all those big leaves for use in tropical/zoo settings but they turn out to look great as pumpkin vine leaves too.

One of the things I really love about doing the Halloween diorama is that I can use all sorts of odd klickies I really like that just don't fit in other settings. I also sneak in characters from other stories, and as in the case with the Simral story series i can sneak in set-ups for future stories.

Nice to see a few people get the bunny reference. Last time I used the cave at Halloween it was the giant crab from the ghost pirates. I thought the bunny was more fun.

It's magnificent Tim  :wow: :wow: :wow:
I keep going back to look and spotting more things I didn't see before.
I love the pumpkin head guy with the chainsaw  and the dragon on the tower is very Harry Potterish (may have to borrow that for Hogwarts  ;D )
Too many great touches to mention - can't wait to see all the circus acts in close up.
