Hello Playmofriends,
I am Peyobin from Florida!
I have been a Playmobil fan since the early years. I received my first Klicky from a classmate in the 70s (now that's a good friend

). I remember, he was blue and had no hair or accessories but it did not matter, that was enough to get hooked. I loved all the possibilities that brilliant little toy offered and I had to get in on more action. That came in the form of cowboys, indians, road workers, cavalry soldiers, pirates (no ship

) and firemen. In those days, Playmobil did not do much in terms of scenery. Sure they had a few buildings and vehicles but nothing like they make now. A lot had to be left to the imagination... Fast forward a few years (well a few more years) and I am back in the action

I now have a 5 year old daughter who is sharing my enthusiasm for Playmobil. She has been my excuse to get a lot of the sets I only wished Playmobil had been making when I was a kid.
My, I mean our favorite themes are pirates, western, Egypt, beach, underwater exploration (where was that when I was a kid

), future planet, a few Romans and a couple of airplanes. I completely missed out on the victorian era

so I can't wait for it to make a come back. After all, I owe my daughter a proper dollhouse

Overall, I am not a big fan of the modern themes

I guess the colors are a bit too 'Fisher Pricey' for me. I think Playmobil does period themes the best...
I hope to share some of our stories with you guys.
