Yes little burial tombs would be cool. Only really old cemetaries have that here in Louisiana. It would be cool for a certain scene from Phantom of the Opera!

Well I am fine with sets being released for adults, but they should not alienate children. Modern armies is a definitive no go since many of these things will find their way to children's playmobil as well.

For adult sets, I would think more about sets a bit too big and maybe a little too complex for children. Such as a beautifull three master with soldiers on it, larger buildings and maybe playmobil depictions of famous buildings, moments in history, etc.

All kinds of things that would be beautifull to put on display, but wont alienate children.

Well, if they were marketed specifically to adults in a seperate section of the website, I don't see how it would matter. Other than something totally inappropriate for children to even see. There are many modern war toys out there, so I don't see how it would alienate kids. That isn't to my personal taste and I wouldn't buy them, but I don't think it would alienate kids, or their parents, assuming it wasn't even marketed for kids.

Locos like the BR 01, 01.10, 17.10, 78, 96 (Mallet) and E 18/E 19, E 91 and a SVT 137 »Fliegender Hamburger«  [Pics are most very expensive Gauge 1 models, 17.10 is H0].
...or at least one bigger steam loco for customizing...

It is a pity that there will probably never be such locomotives or similar.

Wow, those are some beautiful engines. I have always wanted an electric trolley, if that is what they are called, to be set up on an automatic reversing switch. It would go through a down town area in a Victorian type classic setting.

Those engines must be over $1000 each, certainly not located in your toy department for kids 4-12 years old.

I don't think there will ever be sets released for this market only, as there's no possible way to limit the buyers. Also, nothing we've listed is really too mature for children or anything. I reckon we're naming things that might be too complex or specific for children, but I can't really definitively say that because I think some of the ideas suggested would actually add to the learning experience of the toys.

Yes, you are right, these Gauge-1-toys are for adults with much money: each loco costs in Gauge 1 ~2000,- to 3000,- € (not $).
In comparison to this, a 4052 loco is cheap...

We don't mean that only specific people would be allowed to buy them. Just that they would be marketed towards adults, not children since they would be more expensive than found in an ordinary toy line. And in some cases the box might need a "not intended for children under 12" warning. If people feel their kids are mature enough to handle it and want to buy them for their kids in spite of the expense that owuld be fine. Just like the lego Death Star, or Falling Water. Anyone who wants it can buy them, it's just not something most parents would probably buy for their five-year-old.
