It looks to me like it has a full roof and is pretty much square, not just a house front. Of course it has an open back, how else would you see inside?

Well, the ancient west ones had doors on the back. And even the old assembly ones had an open frame in the back... but they weren't just a front...

Finally a playmobil cross  0) now just a dozen or so religions to go, if you are going to educate you need to include it all otherwise its just propaganda  ;)

I believe the cross on the mountain top is an accurate landmark, not an attempt on the part of Geobra to promote Christianity. It's common in that area to mark the summit with a cross.

Playmobil does include objects having to do with worship for other religions, when it applies to a set. Like Kachina dolls in the indian sets (and medicine men), african masks, and Roman Standards, which were revered like idols much more than flags are in modern times. And the egyptian sets had items having to do with ancient Egyptian belief in the afterlife, not to mention a temple and incense. So I think it's unfair to say it is propoganda.

Yes plamobil has made some other classical religious items but the ones were quite hard for a kid to recognize. A kid will instantly know the Christan cross and this one has a very prominent location. I am not complaining I just want to see more for diversity's sake. There are a lot of other modern religions on this planet
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I think religion has nothing to do with this, the mountain cross is just a very recognizable Swiss landmark, lets leave it at that. :)

Very happy about the cable funicular, I've been wanting something like that fir use in a zoo for a long time.  A bit like the cable system at the San Diego zoo.
Great mountain animals and the Swiss cattle will be a nice variation.
It all seems a little short, like we are missing a theme or two compared to recent years.

I really like the lady pirate from those figures, seem to be a few nice specials as well.

The mountain theme looks great, it really shows some innovation with that lift.

Yep. ;D I had the same thing in mind, to try to modify it for a zipline to fly over the elephant exhibit. Or I might just leave it as a cable car to fly over, so that it's more available to young children, the disabled, etc.
