Oh, I never clicked on your link earlier, I assumed you were talking about the one in the fort! That's the one I have, but it's nice to see they are available in a smaller cheaper set, too.

When looking at the clearer images provided you know where, I noticed the new shortened headwear of the Native American Chief in Surprise Figures series-4.   :gent:
I think perhaps they got a bit of inspiration from my Aztec-customs...??  :sherlock:
Anyway, if I get a few of those I won't have to cut off feathers any longer!  8-)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Well when I first saw the cross on the mountain I was a bit amused to its propaganda-ish intent. I would be totally fine with religion as long as it is used to educate not propagate. If Geobra had released educational religious sets I would be more than happy as I would love to use toys to teach my sons all the diffrent religions that exist and one is not better than the other.

Seems Goebra now decided to remove the cross and not have it in the set, gee thanks Kenc

I know some of the Christians will be upset but think of the bigger picture and what it is teaching kids.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I think it is a good move for a "modern" set but for sets that are decorative in nature (nativity) and historical (or quasi-historical) I hope they will continue to produce "religious" figures... we won't ever be able to have proper Asian themes without including their priests and monks... and what use is a medieval setup without including the bulk of medieval history? We got Egyptian priests not long ago though so I am guessing this is a "we don't want to be taken out of context" thing... that and the PR department must have gotten notified that the cross was even in there... somehow    ::)
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

I'm happy it won't be there. Now what I don't understand is how they can keep the OTHER sets... They should be consistent...

well I'm not happy, not because of the religiousness of the cross but for the Swiss landmark that it represents.
Weird they changed their plans. Were there any complaints?

I don't understand what you're talking about, Ras. ??? Where did you see that there won't be a cross? All the pics I've seen have it.

@bonnie: Look on the PCC-Page in the "Novelties first half-year 2013"-Thread...it was written by the official Playmobil-account (Page 6)...
