Horror House

Over a year ago I created some customised figures based on the old TV series "The Munsters"



I had a go at building their car:

So I borrowed his design made it a little larger and I had my own Gothic Horror House. As a kid I used to love watching the Munsters, the Adams Family and old Hammer House Of Horror films, so I tried to put all my favourite bits in this house. I could have done with a dungeon but I had to settle for a tower lab instead. I've painted a lot of the house and furniture with glow in the dark paint, the photos don't look wonderful but you get the idea.

Looks fantastic. Color photos of the interior coming? Love the look of it all, just the thing to get me into mood for my Halloween Castle project that I haven't started yet

One of film's favourite monsters is the Mummy so I added an Egyptian room, with customised monster.

On the middle floor is a study,



a bathroom,







and a coffin room without windows for the vampires.





There's also a ghost walking through the wall. Half in the room and the rear you can see disapearing through the wall on the other side if you look through the window.

The entrance hall has another favourite film item and that's the grand organ. Those who have seen the Munsters may remember the "Thing" - a hand that popped up all around the house.
