Those are great additions :)

That extra part is not a part of the set. It's used to attach stuff to those pegs in belts and such (an axe, sword, bow, whatever). Useful part, but not for that guy!

I WISH my extra hair was the blue one. We got MORE round hair. It's a PLAGUE!

Love the pics of the action man too  ;D

Thanks I did wonder where the little black piece was meant to fit in with such a set wonder how it got in then? weird  ??? Having said that it took a lot of head scratching and close scrutiny of the photos in the leaflet incldued with the clear guy before I figured where the black cable went.

I was definately happy to get extra blue hair and not just one but, 2  could make for some interesting photos later this year  ;) can see how getting a common part like the round hair peice would be frustrating particularly with a collection your size although extra pieces are still extras which for me is always useful as I don't have much spare for customising on the plus side you can always try to sell or trade it, what did frustrate me was only getting one spare cuff with Elvis and the Grenadier Guard don't mean to sound ungrateful but, for the amount it'll cost me to get hold of an uneven number of cuffs it's got to a pair or nothing.

As for the Action Man I'm glad you like him I should point out that they don't normally have 'surfer blonde' hair the result of me trying to repaint it, anyway my first thought when I saw the Grenadier Guard was that I'd have to get him to go with my AM guard I think they make a nice pair  ;) ;D

Great additions, well done.

George. :)

Thank mate glad you like them :)

Hey, at least YOU figured out what to do with the transparent guy's cables.. Mine were all wrong.  :-[

I was definately happy to get extra blue hair and not just one but, 2  could make for some interesting photos later this year  ;) can see how getting a common part like the round hair peice would be frustrating particularly with a collection your size although extra pieces are still extras (...)

The problem with the hair is that we both HATE that hair... We got SEVERAL hairs extra, on more than one set.. Normal classic triangle cut hair (though not less common) would be more useful!

They do look nice together! (and regarding his blonde hair.. variety is good! :) )

I'm very happy went into a charity shop and by amazing luck found not 1 but, 3 Playmobil vehciles  :o by the looks of thm all 1990's

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3761

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3781

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3789

I didn't have much money with me and I was due to meet a friend a bit later so I went away rather excited and distracted and went back a bit later I would have liked to have got them all but, the Construction vehicle was £4.49 and I have rather overspent this month  :-[ but, when you see finds like these you can't pass them up so I bought the Fire Engine for £3.95 and the Rescue Helicopter for £2.95  :yippee:, they're missing most of the accessories and there was only one Klicky between them, poor fellow must have had a hard life as his right arm has been superglued in place  :(   the vehicles themselves though look to be in fairly good condition.

I might go back in a few weeks if I'm in town when the shop is open and just see if they've still got the Construction vehicle if it's not there it removes the temptation if it is I can treat myself accordign ot one of my friends at work there were about 4 or when they saw them which amkes me curious as to what else was there can only wonder  :eh?:. Probably won't have any photos until next week as they're at work but, hopefully I'll have a much expanded crew by then thanks to Bonnie so it'll be worth the wait  ;D

Thanks I couldn't believe my luck nearly walked right past them as they were hidden a bit on a table near the counter and not with most of the toys or anything I wanted to look at. I'll have to give them a good look over but, they look to be in quite good condition man it makes you appreciate what impressive vehicles they are but, for the minute I'll wait until I've taken some photos to say much more  ;)  :fireman:.

Well done, what a great find  :)
I regularly visit the local charity shops and have never found so much as a klicky there.  :(

Very nice additions to your growing collection. I think you should re-hide them so you can pick them up at your later date ;) Those are great prices for the crane, fire truck and helicopter .
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Exactly which is part of what made it such a great find not just Playmobil but, big vehicles and not just any vehicles but, 1990's ones in fairly good condition I'd actually said to myself don't go into any charity shops before meeting my friend so I didn't get tempted to pick up any more shirts or toys since I've already spent more than enought the last few weeks what happens first charity shop I go in and find £10 - £15 worth of Playmobil  :o ;D almost as though I knew in advance.

It can be very dissapointing at times it's the same story with AM's although you do find the odd one once in a while with rubbish articulation or something else to make it not worth spending money on. Hopefully will go to a few car boot sales this year and there's a toy fair at Doncaster every few months, I was amazed last year at how little intersting stuff there was at the car boot nearest to me no good AM's and no Playmobil would have thought surely to see a few klickies at least hiding in there somewhere  :(.

Thanks  :) I'd love to see the staffs faces if I wandered over looking a them and jsut discreetly started moving things to hide the crane if it's still there, might have said before but, my friend said there were 4 or 5 whent hey saw them makes you wonder what the other vehicles were perhaps a nice 80's/90's Ambulance?

Some photos, first off the new arrivals from Bonnie plus the man who came with the Fire Engine whose arm is stuck in position and the mystery figures rocker I bought from the toyshop near me on either end

The new Helicopter

Think it needs a proper crew and a stretcher at least not sure what else the Fire Engine came with First Aid boxes which I think might belong to this set
