I'm not into western, but your review makes me want to get that wagon.  ;D
The cowboy with the checkered shirt is pretty cool. I really like that they slightly modified the classic Playmobil haircut to add more movement in the hair.

I picked this set up when it was on sale at TRU and set it aside until yesterday. Now that I've opened and put it together I love it even more than I thought I would. I like the figures, the wagon, and even like this style of horse in this case. The rock is a different color than has been produced previously. I like the color better than the last try at a light tan they did.
The bad guy with the grey hat - am I the only one that thinks he looks like Billy the Kid? The Black Bart type figure is great, but I wonder if he is actually Chinese, or is just squinting? Could be either one. Would fit well with a Kung Fu diorama/story.
I like this set so much it's making me want the mine set now too, and I had been thinking I could avoid that one and just order the donkey separately.

I opened my new covered wagon today (was waiting for pictures to move from camera to hard drive).  I would not normally buy Western Theme, in fact, this one was purchased for me, but as I put the wagon together, I did like it.  However, the pictures on the package show 3rd generation horses (2nd generation colours, but with more movement in the legs and manes) but I received 2nd generation horses.  This is not a real problem for me, as I am fine with 2nd generation horses, but others may be concerned.

Has anyone else encountered this with newer sets, where the packgage displays one thing, but something else is actually in the box?

Thank you.

I'm sure I've read on here about someone/somepeople getting the same thing (earlier versions of horses and NOT the ones pictured on the box).  I do not recall what happened, but I believe they were going to contact the company about it.

Im so dissapointed.

Did someone get the REAL horses from Geobra after complaining? Should I bother?

There was a thread on Klickywelt exactly about this; several people in Germany also getting the old (2nd gen) horses in this set instead of the new (3rd gen) ones.
After contacting the customers department, they got the right horses send over to them.

For getting the right ones you'll have to have kept your purchase ticket/invoice.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

I'm not sure how it works in Argentina, but here you have to prove you bought a set before DS will send you free replacements parts for it. If you're paying for the parts, then no proof is needed of course.

When my dino came with the missing teeth (in the PROCESS somewhere), I sent a couple of pics (the dino, and him with his "brothers") - there was no problem at all, they sent me a dino.  Of course, it was somehow a different situation - it was easy to see the poor guy was toothless.
