French "Wild Life" exclusive 5039
« on: September 03, 2012, 03:24:10 »
There is another "Wild Life" set; it has appeared on the French Playmobil website only  so probably it is an exclusive...

http://www.playmobil.fr/on/demandware.store/Sites-FR-Site/fr_FR/Product-Show?pid=5039&cgid=

Nothing new though, some old sets repacked together with the title Wild Life above it. And according to info on KW, it comes for ...ahum... 88,90 euro  ::)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

I think there are more people than wild animals in that set

Isn't it quite common for these big sets to have an initial ridiculous asking price and soon it drops to a realistic price?

It doesn't look terribly wild... other than the orca, I see all those animals in my backyard or flying low over it regularly. Come to think of it.... it's a weird combination. ??? You don't expect to see fishing cabins, squirrels, geese and owls by the ocean so much. You expect it more along a lake or something. Of course in Lake Pontchartrain down here in Louisiana, you would see the squirrels and geese and all along the shores and fishing cabins, and that lake has dolphins, being an estuary connected to the Gulf of Mexico. But not orcas!
