First of all, sorry about my English. You will only hear some basic English from me  :-[

Well, uhm, hello PlaymoFriends. Hello from Holland!
I’m a HUGE playmofan, and I’ve been looking at playmofriends for about a year now, so I decided to give it a try and become a real PlaymoFriend. I’ll start with some ‘history’:
I’ve been collecting playmobil ever since I was 7 years old, on that age I got my first pm set, the zoo (3240). It was love at first sight  :lol:. It kept growing and growing. Panda’s, seals, cows, elephants everywhere   8}

As you might have noticed, I mainly collect the animal-sets. That includes the zoo, farm, safari, forest and somewhat citylife. Unlike most of you, I’m not really into old medival, victorian or western sets. I do have a big animal collection with all sorts of animals (of course, still not complete. More, more, MORE!).
You will see some pics on the ‘collector’s corner’, as soon as I figure out how...

I personly don’t know anyone who likes playmobil too, and I just wanted to meet some fellow-playmofans to talk about new sets, collections and other playmobil things

True,  not many of us are very interested in animals, but as time goes by we can't escape the fact that a complete playmobil set up and project is not complete without the loving playmobil animals  :love: :love: :love:
We do have many members who collect mainly anomals and have set up some really nice dioramas of them, like bonniebeth! I am sure you will find many people here who will be glad to share ideas and experiences on the animals!!!

I recently started collecting the zoo theme too and I look forward to seeing your collection!
If you haven't seen Tiermann's website yet, you'll be amazed  :lol:
Do you collect the dinosaurs too?

Among my family and friends, there's nobody either who really 'understands' my ungoing love of Playmobil, but as you can see, there's lots of us out there  8-)

And about the other themes: never say never. The diorama's, customs and stories you can see here can get you interested in just about any playmobil theme out there  ;D

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Some pictures of my animal collection are on the collectors corner, after a few tries.
And Birdie, unfortunately, I don't have any dino's, but I always have to lock up my wallet when I see a nice dino set  :lol: the same with dragons...
