I think it would look good to leave the opening red and paint the buttons black.

I like the second one too, but not the black painted opening. Like the buttons and neckpiece painted... Looks great!

after a tip from another customizer from another forum.. i leave the opening black and do golden buttons like the collar color.. what u think?

I like that one much better.
Maybe you could try a darker red fold too instead of black to make it look more realistic.

Love the longcoat! Obviously, the buttons need to be golden, but the opening should be white or gray, or maybe blue. And matt, also.
