Pool Table
« on: July 19, 2012, 04:15:58 »
Last night Chris and I were working on his fire station, and he commented that a certain empty space would be the perfect spot for a pool table. So while he was at work today, I decided to do a quick custom and surprise him with it when he came home. Here is what I came up with:

It's just a short system x wall turned on its side, with the base made of two system x wall inserts. I bought some green felt and cut it to size, and also put some layers of paper underneath to make the rim less deep. The holes are just colored on, and the balls are small wooden beads that I colored with a fine-tip marker. The pool sticks are broom handles with the broom heads cut off and a little white putty on the end. It could be finished out better, but it was the best I could come up with on short notice. And Chris absolutely loved it!

Cool idea, bb! PCFD may need a few of these along with some ping pong tables, to prevent card playing boredom! ;D
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

A nice pooltable, in its modern shape it actually fits pretty good with the firestation it seems.  :)

Just be carefull to not spoil them too much or they might be playing pool when there is a fire.
