VICTORIAN HOUSES
« on: July 13, 2012, 22:25:28 »
The pink and cream house is the latest I've painted as part of my Victorian street.  I still need to add steps to the front of one house and door handles, also, the pink house is waiting for fillers, hence the holes.
I took them up to the hall to store them as I'm running out of room at home, but left the green chimney at home and forgot to stand up the cream chimney  :-[  so they also need to be added.
However thought you might like to see them before they go on the display.
The green and grey house is from last year.

Well done, the houses look great, I hope people appreciate the work that you've put in, we're going a shade of dayglo green with serious envy here  ;D somehow, someday we've got to get some of the Victorian stuff (as if I'm not already in enough trouble as it is) Congratulations on a job well done, can't wait to see the final set up.

Such a clever idea Elaine!  The colors remind me of Neapolitan ice cream treats!   They are sure to be a hit on the Victorian street.

They look superb, Elaine, and remind me of the colours of the houses on the harbour front of some of the Scottish islands:

Now I'm wondering if Beachtown on my planned rail layout ought not to have something like these on the seafront with the railway running between them and the sea.

EDIT:  This gives the idea:
