I think the 2nd one is best too. But I also agree the hair looks somewhat too cartoonish.
(For my Tintin, I decided to cut off the sharp edges from a standard zigzag-wig, and to give him a safari-hat like he wears in the album "Tintin in Africa". (old title "Tintin in Congo")...
I've been experimenting with a non-hat Tintin-head, but none is to my satisfaction yet.)
I'd also keep the lightblue torso like you used in the 2nd pic, but I'd give him long sleeves. Also, you could exchange the trousers for darkbeige or brown ones with white socks, like he is usually depicted with in the books. For that you could use the trousers of the English officer from set 5140 or the new DS-Redcoat officer.
