How about a Bay Area meeting?
« on: June 01, 2012, 03:40:51 »
I could envision a regular (once or twice a year) meeting in the (expanded) San Francisco Bay Area. It could be anything from a summer BBQ to a simple get-together.
Are we enough (motivated) members to get this going?

Let me know what you think of it - any suggestions welcome.

Cheers,
HDL 8}

I would host a BBQ in Sonoma County or I would travel to one with in a few hundred miles  :**:
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

A Playmo-meet with possible BBQ on/near the beaches of SF... sounds interesting!
Just one thing; Could you then send a private-jet to pick me up in Brussels?  :uhoh:

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Now that's a start! Thanks for the reply, Ras!

Just another suggestion: these meetings could be perfect trade occassions, so everyone could bring their spare parts.

Hey, Erwin, if you hop in a plane heading to SF, I am sure we find ways to accomodate you ...

Cheers,
HDL

PS: Anyone else interested?

I lost the argument for the laundry machines to be outside so I did have to give up some realestate, playmobil or dirty laundry Hmmm  :hissyfit:  :P playmobil does not smell  ;D

I will have to dig out my loose parts if we are going to have a West Coast Bay Area meeting, I would love to trade parts with other local members

Spare parts also includes "spare MISB boxes"
 ;D

Let see, the list is getting longer and longer, what do we have so far:
- HDL
- Rasputin
 - Hadoque (arrives by ship on board the Unicorn)

We must have about a dozen local members currently in the greater Bay Area, I am sure we could make the list grow

Hi everyone,
I have been quiet for quite awhile, working endless hours of OT, but if you have a bay area meeting I would love to join you.  I actually live in SF proper, but that means I have an SF size house, and my collection would probably fit in Rasputin's back pocket by comparison.
